Oso Beach Municipal Golf Course

5601 South Alameda Street
Corpus Christi, TX 78412

361-826-8010

Oso Beach Golf Course, an 18-hole John Bredemus (co-founder of the Texas PGA and the Texas Open) design, opened to the public in 1946.  Built along the Cayo de Oso watershed, and the Corpus Christi Golf Association promoted the facility with its "World Championship Four-Ball Match" featuring the golf dream team of Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, and Jimmy Demaret.

The course plays out over fairly even terrain, but the fairways are lined by trees and bunkers impact play throughout. Oso also has a lighted chipping and putting area.
