Northern Sun Winery is a destination on to itself.  Our vineyard is nestled in the fields of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, five miles from Lake Michigan and just outside the historic town of Escanaba. 

The vineyard is set on gently rolling hills and aligned to catch the lengthy summer sun of our northen location.   Our varietals have been carefully selected to flourish in long warm summer days and our cold winters.

Starting in early spring, you'll see Vitner Dave Anthony carefully pruning and tieing his vines. In autumn, family and friends join him to harvest  clusters of high-quality, delicious grapes. Pressed on site, these grapes produce bold, complex, award-winning wines. 

Savor these fine wines in our charming Mediterranean-style cottage. Susie is your host as you sip your way through great wines and warm conversation. Come relax and enjoy our unique Upper Peninsula experience.
