About Us:

North Star Orchards, in Madison, Maine, is a family-run farm located at the foot of the western Maine mountains, overlooking the Kennebec River. Our orchard, surrounded by woodland, offers the ideal conditions for raising superior quality apples, using the ecologically sustainable techniques of Integrated Crop Management. The farm, which includes the orchard, cold storage, packing facility, farm store, pick-your-own, gift catalog, cider mill and farm kitchen, is run by two generations of the Dimock family.

We encourage visitors in every season!  You are always welcome to walk in our orchard and picnic or fly kites.  A trek on snowshoes will reward you with a beautiful winter view of the mountains. Plan a trip in late May to see the orchard in bloom – one of the most spectacular times to visit.  Watch birds in the summer and pick apples in the fall.  Please come see us!
