Muskegon State Park is located along two miles of Lake Michigan shoreline and a mile of Muskegon Lake shoreline. A luge run is available at the Winter Sports Complex.
The park is located four miles west of North Muskegon. Take US- 31 to the M-120 exit in North Muskegon and follow the signs to the park.
Activities:
Cross Country Ski: A total of 12 miles of marked hiking trails are found in the park, including 5 miles of lighted trails for cross-country skiing. The trails form a diverse series of loops that meander through a variety of landscapes from flat land, bogs and low land to scenic sand dunes.
Fishing: Two fishing piers are located within the park, including an accessible fishing pier located along the channel walkway and another located at Snug Harbor.

Paddling
Swimming: The shoreline of Lake Michigan provides a great area for swimming and a beautiful beach for sun bathing.
Watchable Wildlife: Visitors have an opportunity to view a variety of wildlife including deer, eagles, turkeys and raccoons.
Winter Camping: Portions of the Lake Michigan Campground are available for camping year-round. However, water is not available during the winter months.

Facilities:
Beach: The park is home to a beautiful sandy beach with volleyball courts, grills and picnic tables. An accessible brock dock allows all visitors to access the shoreline.
Picnic Area: The beach along Lake Michigan is great for relaxing and swimming. A bathhouse is located in the beach area. The Snug Harbor picnic area is located on Muskegon Lake. The Blockhouse Overlook provides a scenic view of Lake Michigan and the dunes.
