The contribution which theatre can make to future doctors, lawyers, scientists, engineers, managers and teachers goes far beyond polishing external techniques of presentation. It is the process of touching their humanity; of awakening them to matters of the heart; of creating with them an environment and community that cares about quality of life. It is the process of nurturing a liberating attitude that welcomes conflict as essential for growth. It is the process that makes students aware that, in working with others, the inevitable disagreements and obstacles they will encounter are not negatives. On the contrary, they should be welcomed as springboards for problem-solving and ultimate resolution. Theatre opens eyes to empathize with the humanity of man.
