Melody Hill Golf Course

55 Melody Hill Road
Harmony, RI 02829

History:

Before owning Melody Hill, owners Charlie and Marion Mandeville owned Stillwater Golf Course a 6 hole, then converted to 9 hole course in Smithfield/Lincoln area, which is now part of Rt 295. When the state wanted to build Rt 295 Stillwater was forced to move to the village of Harmony within the town of Glocester. In 1965 Delfino Corporation built the first nine, (which is now known as the current back nine, holes 10-18). They opened in 1967 with the hope of expanding in the near future. The second nine ( the current front 9, holes 1-9) opened in 1976. Unfortunately Charlie Mandeville never got to see the second nine in full operation, passing away right before it opened. His wife, Marion became sole owner and has owned and run the course since that time, and continues to do so today.  Melody Hill is a family owned and operated small business that thrives on loyal customers and word of mouth. So please spread the word if you enjoyed yourself.
