McHale Performing Arts Center

1 Berry Lane
Logansport, IN 46947

The high school auditorium at Logansport Community High School was built three years after the high school itself.  It was built  with a generous 1.2 million dollar gift from Mr. Frank McHale, a Logansport native who became a successful attorney.

The facility was first dedicated with the name McHale Auditorium on November 7, 1976.  It held that name until January 14, 2002 when the LCSC School Board updated it to the McHale Performing Arts Center.  This name change was due in large part to the many varied programs, concerts and theater productions held in the facility and its more recent use as a conference location with television broadcast capabilities.

The facility impacts the lives of not only our LHS students, but the entire community.  It is truly a shared facility.
