Maquoketa Area Family YMCA

We are a unique collaboration between the City of Maquoketa and the Scott County Family YMCA. On behalf of the City of Maquoketa, we operate the recreation center, manage the Maquoketa Community Center, and direct Maquoketa Recreation Department programs.

Since the YMCA commenced operation in late 2007, a wide variety of new programs have become available to area residents. See the menu at the top of this website for information on all the great programs we have to offer.

The YMCA is, however, more than a collection of activities. It is a philosophy of how to involve people in building spirit, mind, and body. It is a locally based world wide movement that seeks to identify area needs and use community resources to meet those needs. The Maquoketa Area Family YMCA helps build strong kids, strong families, and a strong community.
