A Family Owned and Operated Winery and Tasting Room. Nestled in the rolling hills amongst meandering creeks and crossing deer tracks, the winery and tasting room grounds are located just one mile northeast of the quaint town of Brainard, Nebraska. Visitors are welcome to taste through the current wine releases with a complimentary glass and enjoy the beautiful Nebraska scenery of Makovicka winery. Relax on the deck and watch the sunset with some wine, or surround yourself with grape vines in the picnic area and walkway below.  Or, take a tour of the production area, and visit with the winemaker and his wife, while peering through the breathtaking tasting room windows.  Whatever you decide, one thing is for certain, you will not forget your experience at Makovicka Winery!
