About:
M&T's Gibbsville Orchard is made up of Machelle (Shelly), Miranda, Tony & Troy Hottenroth. We acquired the Gibbsville Orchard July 1st, 2018 with some big family dreams and visions for the property. Will get to that but let's meet the Hottenroth's.
Tony Hottenroth-the Father of this operation has a long history of maintenance under his belt, loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and is looking forward to enjoying his later years with family, friends and caring for the apple tree's. You'll find Tony manning the Grill during the Brat Fry's.
Troy Hottenroth-the Son of Tony and Shelly, has many years of experience in farming, machinery and heavy equipment. You'll find Troy out back maintaining the orchard, working alongside the seasonal help making sure the apples are properly harvested and brought in for careful inspection, packaging and distribution.
Machelle (Shelly) Hottenroth-the Mom of this operation has a long history of Supervisory Management. Her passion is gardening and gifts. You'll see her creative side is expressed in the changing seasons of the full retail Gift Store onsite.
Miranda Hottenroth-daughter of Tony and Shelly. With over 20 years of customer service/hospitality and business management, Miranda takes care of the daily operations, ordering, event planning, farmers markets and more. Her passion is to provide local, affordable organic produce while connecting people and communities to their local farms. Miranda owns and runs a local organic farm stand in Sheboygan, WI called Backyard Acres. For more information check out her website here. Miranda has 4 children, Takoda, Myah-Rain, Jamar & Donnie, who will one day continue with the growth and development of the orchard.
All together our family's vision for the Orchard is to continue growing into a place where generations of family's will come to get fresh local seasonal produce, gifts, jellies, jams, bakery and have a ton of fun doing it! We look forward to seeing you out at the Orchard! Check out our Home page for a calendar of events.
