Open to the Public!The Lucerne Golf Club is a classic Donald Ross course conveniently located on the Bar Harbor Road, Route 1A, between Bangor and Ellsworth, Maine.

The course overlooks Phillips Lake and is across from the Lucerne Inn.

Play a quick early morning round as early as 7:00 a.m. or enjoy our spectacular views at sunset during summer hours, 7:00 a.m. until dusk.

Donald James Ross is known for helping solidify the foundation of America’s golf industry. In his adult life, he helped design around four hundred golf courses. Ross also played golf alongside his career in course design, having taken part in the U.S. Open several times, and the British Open once.
