Loup Loup Ski Bowl

97 FS 4200 100 Road
Twisp, WA 98856

866-699-5334

How many ski areas are not for profit organizations? The Loup Loup Ski Bowl is one of the few. Located between Twisp and Okanogan just off Highway 20 @ Loup Loup Pass, the Loup Loup Basin is just a short trip from the Methow or Okanogan Valleys.

Offering 1,240 vertical feet with 10 runs ranging from beginner to expert. The mountain is serviced by a Poma fixed grip quad chair lift, installed in 1998 by an amazing community effort. A platter surface lift and a beginner rope tow give sliders a chance to practice their skills without going to the top. The Loup Loup Ski Bowl also offers 23k of groomed track set Nordic trails from beginner to expert as well as tube rentals on the weekends.

Beginners of any age will appreciate the un-crowded gentle slopes, the fully certified ski school with all levels of Alpine, snowboarding and Nordic lessons. The Loup Loup Rental Shop offers snowboards and alpine ski equipment rental. Our old school (1969) day lodge has a rock fire place, a view of the mountain's runs and food & beverage concession.

Weather permitting, The Loup's typical season runs from mid-December to mid-March. Standard days' of operation are Wednesday (in January & February), Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:15AM to 3:45PM. During Christmas week the Loup Loup is open approximately December 20th through January 5th, with the exception of Christmas day.

From a child's first day out on the snow to a powder hound's search for the fluff, the Loup Loup Ski Bowl is the biggest little mountain in the Northwest.
