The Links at Novadell Golf Course offers a great golf experience rich in the heritage of golf and unsurpassed in southern hospitality. Our championship par 72 course is fun for all ages. With 4 sets of tees and a 5th coming very soon, you are sure to find a fun and challenging set of tees that fits your game best.
Because it’s a links style course our 18 holes are generally open and easy to walk, however, the wind plays a major role in shot accuracy. This course was designed with the average golfer in mind, and there are few forced carries.
The greens are very large (averaging 7,000 square feet) , with a slight undulation and a back-to-front slope of about two feet. Water comes into play on nine holes in the form of four lakes and a few creeks. The Links at Novadell plays from 5,003 to 6,886-yards. New to 2011, we are introducing our 5th set of tees that stretch the Links out to over 7100 yards. These tees will open up this spring.
The course’s defenses are the wind that blows across the flat terain and the fescue grass that flanks the exterior of each hole. The golfer who can keep the ball in front of themselves and who has the ability to hit a lower shot when needed is sure to be rewarded. The course also features bermuda tees, fairways, and interior rough which makes more excellent lies and approach shots.
The greens and collars are made up of bent grass.
We are sure that you will shoot your very best round of golf at Novadell. The course is fair and when you are hitting it well you can take it deep just like Mathew Wallace did at the 2010 APSU IntercollegiateTournament. Mathew, who played for Jacksonville State University, shot an amazing 62 and holds the course record for competition.
