Lake Charlevoix Brewing Company

History:

Founded in June of 2015, The Lake Charlevoix Brewing Company is the second venture of the Round Lake Group LLC. The Brewery is located in the former storage area for the 180 foot US Coast Guard vessel named the Acacia. Once the Acacia was decommissioned, the area sat vacant for several years and acted as a depository for the City of Charlevoix. The space stored everything from boat parts to even a timpani and xylophone. In the summer of 2014, the Round Lake Group partners caught wind of the location and fell in love. Through several City Counsel presentations, a myriad of architectural drawings, several neighboring brewery tours, and a lot of cement cutting, the Lake Charlevoix Brewing Co. was born! Nestled just feet from the picturesque Round Lake, the Lake Charlevoix Brewing Co. is the best place to sit back, watch the boats, and enjoy great craft beer and food.
