The City of La Porte Farmer’s Market strives to build and strengthen the local-food movement in La Porte by using our Farmer’s Market to create a vibrant community gathering place showcasing our region’s bounty, creating economic opportunities, and bringing healthy options to our citizens.
At the market you will find growers selling fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs, cheese, honey, and often home baked goods. Our market items are coming directly from the producer allowing you the opportunity to get to know where your food is coming from. You will find your choice of products that have been grown, raised, made conventionally or organically without additive antibiotics, hormones, pesticides and /or insecticides. Nearly 95% of products available at the market will be sold directly by the producer.
