The John Muir Trail is the premier hiking trail in the United States.The trail starts in America's treasure, Yosemite National Park, and continues 215 miles through the Ansel Adams Wilderness, Sequoia National Park, King's Canyon National Park, and ends at the highest peak in continental United States, Mount Whitney at 14,496 ft.

Considering these facts, why rush? Our philosophy is to enjoy every mile, every meal, and every vista.We are average folks, not super athletes. We have hiked the whole trail in 30 days, and it was a pleasure. If you can't arrange such a length of time, consider hiking in one week or two-week segments, and complete it over the course of a couple summers.
