Constructed under the administration of Mayors Jospahat T. Benoit and John C. Mongan, and completed in 1963, the arena was home to the Manchester Blackhawks, and NYL player Hubie McDonough who is now Director of Hockey Operations for the Manchester Monarchs. John F. Kennedy Memorial Coliseum serves as home ice for Manchester Central and Memorial High Schools, and Southern NH Skating Club.
