Starting from the Indian Springs Recreation Area, this moderately difficult out and back ride is close to the lake and offers some beautiful views. The most popular trail this area, it is mostly single track that is relatively flat and fairly fast, although it does offer one challenge, a rideable rock slab near the lake. You can increase the length and vary your ride by riding the Dalton Road Ride, or Figure Eight at Holly Springs Rides in the same area.Insect repellent is recommended during the warmer months. Be aware that this trail is multi-use and shared by hikers, bikers, and horses.
