Iron Spike Brewing Company

Iron Spike Brewing Company is a craft brewery and restaurant located in downtown Galesburg, IL at the historic Central Fire Station. This 10 barrel brewhouse and restaurant is truly unique to the downtown community, both inside and out. A 20 foot long, 12 foot high glass wall separates the brewery from the dining area, with the last of three functional fire poles located behind the bar. Iron Spike Brewpub operates with one simple philosophy of crafting traditional, unique and specialty styles that will entice every beer drinker, whether a craft-beer virgin, blog enthusiast, or malty connoisseur, and to rescue the standard that craft beer was founded upon. Iron Spike pushes the envelope of traditional styles including pilsner, porter, Indian Pale, Belgian, wheat and many others. We design recipes that stretch the character, basis and strength of each style. Our kitchen and chef compliment our craft beers with simple methods of building "from scratch" homefolk, hearty, and mouth-watering dishes that will entice and pair perfectly with our brews. Iron Spike not only brings craft beer and food to the area, but brings live music and local bands to fill up the atmosphere. Altogether, Iron Spike prides itself on original beer, great food, and local entertainment while supporting the Galesburg community.
