Mission:

The Mission of the Mosaic Arts Center (MAC) is to provide the Arts as a catalyst for children and member's learning, using hands-on artistic expression and linking it to math, science, engineering, technology (STEAM), reading and language curriculum in an after school enrichment program.

About Us:

Located in Historic Avondale, Arizona, our 5,300 square foot studio space has been renovated to support our innovative program that uses art projects and a creative studio space to engage participants in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

We provide a fun learning experience to promote creativity and problem-solving skills but are also mindful that we are developing tomorrow's workforce.  To better prepare participants for future work environments, some projects are treated as 'work' using daily work ethics and expectations as guidelines. Group work is also emphasized in order to develop the communication and team skills sought by employers. Our objective is to continue the employability development of participants of any age, using the Science, Technology, engineering, Art and Math STE[+a]M model.

Our building is ADA friendly, houses an art gallery, stage and Internet computer center.
