Indian Creek Country Club is family owned and operated. In the early 1960's, Mr. E.T.T.Williams acquired the property for his daughter, Jane. Her husband, Jim Clark, was a golf professional who designed the original layout of the course. With the help of family and students from Sierra College, Indian Creek was able to open up to the public in the mid 60's, and was later Incorporated in 1968. The business continued under Jane's ownership until she passed away in 1996. Her five children, Peter Nash, Tom Nash, Kathy Nash, Jan Clark and Bill Clark are the controlling shareholders in the company, along with their Aunt, and Jane's grandchildren.
A beautiful bench with custom mosaic tiles was erected in loving memory of Jane Williams, and is situated by the first tee. Indian Creek has long been enjoyed for its family atmosphere and beauty. There are several memorial plaques situated around the course provided by our guests in memory of their loved ones who spent many hours enjoying Indian Creek.
