Hughes-Donahue Gallery was founded in 2007 by Darrell Hughes and Jack Donahue. The gallery's mission is to provide display space for local artist to exhibit their artwork, free of charge. The  first exhibit opened September 2007, showcased three artists. But, over the years the gallery has emerged to exhibiting over 40 artists and photographers, that range from Fine Arts, Photography, Assembleage Art, and unique Expressive Works.

The gallery have  five to six exhibits a year, beginning March thru November. The public and invited guests can not only attend the exhibits, but purchase the artists work.  The array of local artist come from Southeastern Massachusetts; and Bristol County.  In addition, other artist work exhibited were from the surrounding New England States, such as Rhode Island: Riverside, East Providence, and Coventry.  The gallery has too featured artist from Connecticut, and Washington D.C.
