About Museum:

The Hieronymus Mueller Museum is dedicated to the collection, preservation, and interpretation of the history of the Hieronymus Mueller family and company. The Museum promotes understanding of and pride in this rich heritage that touched Decatur and the country.

Exhibits in the Museum reflect the many facets of this fascinating story. From the poignant story of Hieronymus Mueller's immigration to this country in the mid-nineteenth century, through his brilliant mechanical inventions, the growth of his family and company, and their contributions to the efforts in both World Wars I and II, through the present.
