The easiest and most popular trail at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary

Start: Visitor Center Area

End: North Lookout

Blazes: Orange on rocks and trees, stay on trail

Distance: About 1 mile, 1.6 km

Time: 35 – 45 minutes, one way

Difficulty: Easy

Character: easy, rocky after Bald Overlook, crowded in Summer and Fall, wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots, gradual ascent, steep stairs at the end, Overall ascent about 210ft., 64m
