The Harry & Laura Nohr Gallery can be found on the ground floor of Ullsvik Hall, located on a corner of Main and Hickory Streets on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville campus that is easily visible and accessible to students and the community. The 5000 sq. ft. space enhances the experience in the visual arts. The gallery has three primary access locations including the main entrance accessed through the ground floor entrance on the south side of Ulsvik Hall, a unique architectural stair that enters into the middle of the gallery, and elevator access which may be reached from the street level entrance on the east side of Ullsvik Hall.
The facility provides students from the campus and community the opportunity to view works of foremost artists and institutions reflecting current trends, traditional art forms, works of diversity, and issues of cultural significance. The large space has 117'7" of display space and is conducive to professional exhibitions and demonstrations whether serving University or regional art needs. The changing exhibitions will appeal to all facets of the Southwest Wisconsin Community.
