The mission of the Greenwood Family YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Who We Are:

The Greenwood Family YMCA is a nonprofit community service organization made possible because of donations through member support, dedicated volunteers, and our annual giving campaign: Partners With Youth.

Our Focus:

Our Y is devoted to Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility of children, families and communities. We seek to be a welcoming community serving individuals of any age, race, religion, heritage, economic circumstance, or physical ability.

The Y strives to incorporate all its programs with the core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility. Founded in 1950, the Greenwood Family YMCA has over 7500 members and serves Greenwood County.
