About us:

In  late 2009, two home brewers had an idea to bring great craft beer to Toledo Ohio. With over 40 years of experience between us as well as a love of beer, we have been working tirelessly to make that dream a reality.  For the last year, we have been scouring the country for brewing equipment, looking for a place to call our brewery home and putting the final touches on what we hope is going to be the best beer in Northwest Ohio.

We've pulled together resources from Montana, Colorado and Massachusetts put it all together right here in Toledo Ohio.  We're ready to launch a line of beers made locally in Toledo for all the craft beer lovers in Northwest Ohio.  Keep an eye out for Great Black Swamp Brewery beer wherever you see craft beer on tap.  If we're not there let us know and we will be!
