Golden Memorial State Park memorializes the post Civil War era with a one-room school once located on the site. The Park provides picnic tables, grills, 2 picnic pavilions, nature trails, and a 15-acre spring-fed lake stocked with bass and bream. The Loblolly Trail features the second largest loblolly pine tree in the state of Mississippi.

Picnic Area/Pavilions
Two covered pavilions may be reserved for a fee, providing the ideal spot for family reunions, company picnics, and school or church outings. One of the two pavilions has restrooms. Each pavilion is available for picnics by reservations by calling (601) 253-2237.
Picnic sites complete with grills are located throughout the park and many have affording lakeside views
Nature Trail
A nature trail winds through the park memorializes post civil War and a one-room school once located on the site.
Playground
Playground equipment is also available on the park.
Fishing and Boating
A 15 acre spring-fed lake stocked with catfish, channel catfish, bass, and bream is available for visitors to fish at Golden Memorial State Park. A Mississippi Fishing License is required for all people between the ages of 16 and 65. For license information, please call the park office at (601) 253-2237. There is no swimming allowed in the lake.
Boats are limited in size to a 14 foot jon boat with trolling motor or smaller. An unpaved boat launch is provided. There is no fee for use of the boat ramp.
