Fort Worth Aviation Museum

3300 Ross Avenue
Fort Worth, TX 76106

855-733-8627

The Fort Worth Aviation Museum honors the proud and patriotic heritage of the people of North Texas.  Since World War I people of the region participated in the early days of aviation with the Army Air Service. Since World War II, countless ten of thousands built and flew the airplanes that won the war against Naziism and the jets and helicopters that won the Cold War.  Aviation has transformed the region from a farm and ranch economy and culture into one of the largest aviation aerospace centers in the world today.

We honor our past through our motto and core values of Preservation - Inspiration - Education.  We preserve our heritage in many forms and use that to inspire our young people to stay in school and achieve their full potential, while educating the general public to the many and ongoing changes aviation in North Texas has on their lives.

Docents are on hand to guide visitors through the displays, simulators, the static T-38 cockpit trainer, and around our 24 military airplanes in our "Petting Zoo."  We participate in the region's summer camp youth programs, and work closely with the City of Fort Worth's historical preservation programs and area schools.
