Foothills Theatre Company seats 349, is completely handicapped accessible, and includes on-site rehearal space and set and costume shops.

Foothills Children's Theatre performs at various times during the school year - always providing entertainment during the weeks of school break - and performs a season of shows in the summer months.. Foothills has introduced thousands of young people to live theatre.

In its first five years, The Foothills Theatre School has had over 500 students learn acting, speech, musical, and dance techniques from staff, company members, and visiting professional performers.

In 2001, Foothills became the first theatre in Central Massachusetts and the fourth theatre in the state to bring audio-described theatre (ADT) to the blind and visually impaired.
