A growing number of communities are creating Dog Parks for dog lovers everywhere. Now Danville too joins the ranks of others that have great locations to walk their dogs and let them run in a secure fenced park, just for pooches.

Danville's Fetch Dog Park has five total fenced acres. It is divided into small (1 acre) and large dog (4 acres) areas with separate double gated entries. It is located in the City's new Espenscheid Park. Fetch Dog Park honors the Espenscheid family that donated a 70 acre parcel of land for a park to the city. Fetch stands for Family of Espenscheid, Totally Canines and Hounds. The Fetch Dog Park Advisory Group raised the funds needed for construction and maintenance. The Advisory Group will continue to be involved in the park operation and its needs through its Leadership Team.
