Mission Statement:

City of FarmingtonThe Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market is an outdoor seasonal weekly market operated by the City of Farmington for the enjoyment of the citizens of Farmington and surrounding communities.  The market is located in downtown Farmington at the Walter E. Sundquist Pavilion in Riley Park and operates Saturdays, 9:00am - 2:00pm, May to November.  Please feel welcome to discover and enjoy the many treasures of the Farmington community.

The Mission and Philosophy of the Market:

To Provide: A colorful, festive gathering place for the utilization and enjoyment of the citizens of Farmington and surrounding communities by enhancing the downtown business district with access to a wide variety of fresh, local, in-season Michigan grown farm produce, value added prepared foods and quality artisan originals.

To Welcome: Be open and friendly to community organizations and charitable interest groups encouraging visible displays and hands on participation working in conjunction with the "Friends of the Market" volunteers.

To Inspire: Encouraging local flair with artisan originals, entertainment and live demonstrations.

To Promote: Help enhance Farmington's civic brand identity with vibrant local commerce making our downtown a destination of choice and discovery.
