About Engelbrecht’s Homegrown Goodness

Engelbrecht Orchards originated in 1919 on the north side of Evansville by Bill Engelbrecht’s grandfather. His own parents, Bob & Peg Engelbrecht continued with the development of the orchard on Christ Road until their deaths. Bill and his wife, Debbie Engelbrecht began Engelbrecht’s Orchard of Newburgh in 1975 and farmed the land until Engelbrecht Place I and II subdivisions were developed in 2003. Bill and his son, Joe Engelbrecht began the fourth generation orchard in 2002 on the same land his mother, Peg grew up on Old Petersburg Road. The Fourth Generation Orchard remains in production.
