About Us:

Acting is one of the best ways to learn about being alive. Experiencing this art form can give you the opportunity to utter great words and develop more insight and compassion, stronger self-awareness, greater confidence and self-esteem, and more successful human interactions.

At Encore! Theatre Arts, our mission is to provide adults and children of all ages with opportunities to learn and grow in the art of theatre through camps, workshops, classes, and high-quality productions. Encore Theatre Arts was founded by Joshua and Mindy Barker, who have nearly 30 years combined experience in performing arts.

We were recently awarded the "You Make a Difference" Award from Family & Children's Services for our charity shows. For our production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, every child from Family & Children's Services (as well as other organizations) received at least 2-3 Christmas gifts in addition to enjoying a free performance of the show. Children from the organization have also enjoyed free performances of our many other productions.

Encore! Theatre Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and supports itself through ticket sales, class tuition, and generous corporate and private donors. We currently have a 3,000 sq-ft. facility that includes an office, rehearsal/class space, and a workshop for building sets. We perform our productions at Tulsa Performing Arts Center and Tulsa Little Theatre.
