Mission:

Dragon’s mission is to produce professional theatre that is uncommon, intimate, and accessible to its audiences, artists, and community. The board of directors, led by Dale Albright, recently completed a year-long survey of the board, staff, artists, designers, a various community members to draft a new five- year strategic plan. The process clarified some unconscious choices that we’ve made in the past few years with our move from Palo Alto to Redwood City.

Dragon Productions Theatre Company is a 501c3 nonprofit live theatre company founded by Executive Artistic Director, Meredith Hagedorn in 1999. Located in downtown Redwood City since 2013, Dragon has been building a reputation for low-cost, high-quality, live theatre entertainment. The Dragon Theatre houses a 65-seat intimate theatre area, a classroom, and a studio space.
