Dr. Wm. Robinson Plantation & Museum

593 Madison Hill Road
Clark, NJ 07066

732-340-1571

The Dr. Robinson Museum is itself a “living” museum that was built in 1690 by Dr. William Robinson, who emigrated here from Scotland. The house has three floors which contain much of its original wood framing. Through research and dedication of volunteers the house is filled with reproductions to demonstrate what life was like so many years ago. Outside there are buildings to depict what many Colonial Americans would have used to support their family. The house is registered on the National and State registry of Historical Landmarks.
