About
Downtown Fond du Lac has two markets May through October. In addition to cash, both of our markets accept EBT, credit and debit cards. You can swipe your card at the Information Tent and receive wooden tokens which are used like cash at participating vendor booths. For EBT use your Wisconsin QUEST card at the information Tent. It is a plastic debit card with your name, card number and the Wisconsin QUEST logo on it. You must have your QUEST card with you at the tent to purchase tokens using your FoodShare account.
The Downtown Fond du Lac Farmers Market is a pet-friendly market. All pets must be leashed (6ft. or less) and under human control at all times. When produce is on the ground, pets must be far enough away to avoid any potential "marking" of food items.
The economic impact of the 2016 market season is estimated to represent:
-$1.1 million in additional economic activity and 5 jobs in downtown.
-$2.2 million in additional economic activity and 22 jobs in the Fond du Lac Metropolitan area.
-Over the course of the season, the market generated $254,070 in total estimated sales to market vendors, a 35% increase over 2015!
