About us:
Many people are unaware of an intimate little theatre nestled in the hills of Dover called, of all things, The Dover Little Theatre. We are always shocked when folks walk in for the first time stating that they are long-time residents of Dover or surrounding towns and never heard of us! Well, truth be told, in most cases, we've been here longer than they've been there. We've just been waiting for them... The theatre itself seats 100 people, allowing audiences one of the most intimate theatre experiences in Morris County. DLT produces four mainstage productions per season, utilizing the talents of local actors, actresses, producers, directors and many other volunteers.

DLT was established in 1933 through the efforts of a dedicated group of theatre enthusiasts who sought to establish a "home" for theatrical arts and artists. The first season (1933/34) included three plays, one of which was "Lady Windermere's Fan" (pictured). Since then, over 300 successive plays have been produced!
