About Us:
Dianne studied at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, later supplementing her education with workshops by individual artist.
“As a visual artist my interests are multi-media, working in oil, pastel, pen & ink, watercolor, acrylics, colored pencil, print making, and mixed media. This interest grew from my background in teaching art in public school.” - Dianne Roberts
Dianne’s style of art would be considered impressionistic to realistic and the subject matter shows variety, but she leans toward the subjects of people and still-lifes that gives the viewer a sense of their historic past. One of the techniques she uses that make compositions more appealing is layers of glazes, capturing light and playing textures against textures.
