Darkroom Gallery

The Darkroom Gallery hosts juried exhibits providing opportunities for photographers from around the world to have their work evaluated by qualified jurors for display in our Vermont gallery, on our web site and published in exhibit catalogs with minimum expense or hassle.

Opened on May 16th, 2010 the Darkroom Gallery is located at the "Five Corners" right next to Martone's Market and Café. The Village of Essex Jct. is located within 10 miles of The University of Vermont and three other Colleges, Downtown Burlington and Burlington International Airport. Our gallery is a bright airy 1300 sq ft first floor store-front air conditioned space with hardwood floors and an 11' ceiling. Our lighting system uses 3000K LED flood lights. Nearly every image has a dedicated light and hangs from a fully adjustable hanging system.

We offer free matting and framing of accepted entries for the duration of each of our exhibition, subject to standard sizes. Photographers set their own prices if they wish to sell their work and retain all rights to their photographs. This makes it very easy and inexpensive to get your work on display.
