​Who We Are

Curtain’s Up Theater Company (CUTC) is our community theater company which performs in the Madison County area, primarily in Collinsville and Edwardsville. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a variety of quality theatrical experiences to the community.  

We have found involvement in community theater to be a positive and rewarding experience. We hope to share that experience by providing performance and technical support opportunities to many in the community. We particularly wish to involve young people in the theater experience, as it is a wonderful way to nurture and celebrate artistic expression, as well as provide performance outlets for their talents. There are many young people in our area who spend a great deal of time training and practicing their many skills – singing, dancing, musical instrumentation –and performance opportunities are often limited. One of the main reasons for the formation of our organization is to provide these hard-working children an opportunity to use the talents they have spent many hours developing.
