About Us:
Crater Springs Golf Course at Homestead Resort, formerly Homestead Golf Course is celebrating our 27th anniversary this season. It is still the only golf course in Utah attached to a resort under one ownership that includes guestrooms, restaurants and full service conference facilities! Over the years the grounds have been expertly maintained and are beautful with mature trees and plenty of water features.
Crater Springs was built primarily to host corporate golf events in conjunction with corporate meetings. Over the years Crater Springs has set the bar for corporate outings hosting 150 per year!
The course was designed by Bruce Summerhays and was built on land that was given in the form of perpetual leases to over 100 landowners. Those landowners became Founding members.
Crater Springs has hosted the Utah Section PGA Championship, Beat the Pro Finals, and many other state championships. The scenic beauty of Midway and the Wasatch Mountains make Crater Springs a special golf course for any occasion.
The Homestead Crater with its natural spring water has always been the iconic symbol of Homestead Resort. Because of that, It was important to incorporate the Crater into the golf course in a meaningful way, aside from just the name "Crater Springs Golf Course".
