Cornfest

Rolling Meadows, IL 60008

The origins of Community Church's Annual CORNFEST can be traced back to  a couple of church members observing a community corn boil while on vacation.  In Aug. 1957 the first official Community Church Cornfest was born.

Through the years some things may have changed - cooking procedures have significantly improved; the big yellow and white tent was added in the late 1980's, and a craft fair in the late 1990's. The menu however, has remained virtually the same- A hamburger or hotdog, drink, watermelon and all the fresh picked boiled and buttered sweet corn you can eat! The most important thing that has remained throughout the years has been the opportunity for the members of Community Church to reach beyond its walls to the community of Rolling Meadows for a wonderful day of food, fun and fellowship. While you're there, visit our Craft Fair (Open 10 am to 6 pm).
