Peaceful Getaway
A spring-fed lake, trails through the forest, quiet campsites – what more do you need? Get away from hectic city life at Cleburne State Park, just 30 minutes southwest of Fort Worth on the northern edge of the Hill Country.

Things to Do
The park offers fun for the whole family, for an afternoon or a weekend. On the lake, you can canoe or kayak, fish, swim and boat (no wake). On land, you can explore nearly 13 miles of trails on foot or bike, set up camp, look for geocaches, and nature watch.

Water Sports
The park surrounds the clear blue water of 116-acre Cedar Lake. Enjoy swimming, fishing and no-wake boating.

Try your luck fishing from our ADA-accessible, covered fishing pier. We loan fishing gear for use in the park. You do not need a license to fish here.

The park has a boat ramp and no-wake boating is allowed. Personal watercraft (i.e. jet skis) are not allowed on the lake.

Hiking & Biking
Trails range from easy to strenuous. Choose a leisurely stroll or a high-intensity hike. Follow the Spillway Trail to the hand-carved three-tiered spillway, which resembles a large waterfall after rains.

Mountain bikers: Experience challenging downhills, fast smooth flats, and everything in between. Our technical and wooded trails form a 6-mile loop.

Camping
All campsites have water and electricity; some have sewer hookups as well. You can also reserve a screened shelter or cabin (bathrooms with showers are nearby).
