AARP Eye Center
Mission:
The Superintendent's Cultural Arts Renaissance Program's mission is to integrate the community with arts by developing partnerships with businesses and arts organizations throughout metro Atlanta and the state of Georgia. We know a community that is enriched with arts motivates young people and heightens their motivation to learn. The new initiative will utilize the Performing Arts Center where families can experience visual and performing arts together. Arts programming will include exhibits, interactive performances, ethnic festivals, concerts, plays, puppet theatres, international guest artists, music and dance evenings, celebrations of Latino, Cambodian, Asian, Hispanic, and African American events. The investment of becoming a Partner in Education with Clayton County Schools will demonstrate building relationships that will unify the community through the arts.
