Cherry Oaks Golf Course

Cherry Oaks Golf Course became an 18-hole golf course when the back nine opened July 15th, 2005. The city took control of the municipal course on April 1, 2004, and began the expansion process. The course is open 362 days a year. Amenities include a driving range, practice green and a clubhouse with merchandise, snacks, and beverages.
 
Recent improvements include the addition of many new trees, including 250 planted in 2007. In 2010 and 2011, many new concrete cart paths were added at Cherry Oaks. A new scoreboard was also recently built to accommodate the many tournaments. The course is located on the north edge of town on Main Street, and is easily accessible to golfers from Wichita, Hutchinson, and surrounding communities.
