Chelsea Art Gallery

Chelsea Art Gallery specializes in British contemporary art. Through partnerships with some of London's top galleries and direct relationships with some of the most promising emerging talents and established artists in the U.K. today, we strive to increase the representation of British art in the Bay Area. With over 3500 square feet of exhibition space, we use our large facility to not only accommodate comprehensive solo and extensive group exhibits, but also to contribute to the community by hosting noted arts and culture events including gallery lectures, artist spotlight evenings, arts education fundraisers, and events for corporations and organizations invested in our project such as the British American Business Council.

True to the spirit of our location at the heart of Silicon Valley, we use digital technology to create an auxiliary exhibition space comprised of large plasma screens mounted throughout the gallery. Alongside the actual work in the gallery, these digital exhibition spaces screen high-resolution images of work that is available in the U.K. as well as work in the Gallery that is not currently on display. At Chelsea Art, we give our visitors access to an unprecedented range of work both in Palo Alto and in London, changing traditional art viewership and providing them with a truly unique experience.

Through our focused exhibitions, educational programming, and innovative use of technology and global communications, we at Chelsea Art continue to facilitate a transatlantic cultural dialogue between the San Francisco Bay Area and the United Kingdom.
