The series features 18-20 Performing Arts events and highlights the talents of artists from around the area, the region, the country and the world! Typically, 2-3 major plays are produced each season from both contemporary and classic styles and periods. Course work includes classes in Introduction to Theater and Drama, Stagecraft, Acting, Playwriting, Modern Drama, Shakespeare, and several applied, performance-oriented courses. The Theater program is headed by Dr. Rick Plummer, a professional actor-director with over 25 years experience as a theater educator. The Box Office Manager is Sandi Williams, who comes to the job with years of marketing and business experience.
