About Us:

We are a non profit organization that relies on donor support and volunteerism. The Call Homestead Museum was founded in 1980 by Richard Call of Hartsville, New York.

The museum is an extraordinary collection of 19th and 20th century farm equipment and traditional rural implements. There is a collection of butter churns from the early 1800's to 1900's including a dog powered butter churn! We also have a Civil War Drum and Philip Webb's original Civil War discharge papers along with other war artifacts. The museum houses many unique collections such as crocks, clocks, quilts, toys, musical instruments, furniture, artwork and local pottery. The museum also houses a collection of local genealogical materials as well as a research library open to visitors by appointment.

There is so much to see and enjoy at the Call Homestead Museum and we welcome your visit! The museum is open May through October every Saturday and Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. or by special appointment.
