Calamus Golf Course

The Calamus Golf Course was incorporated in February of 1992, and construction began soon after, thanks to the generous donation of 54 acres of land by Ferrall and Gloria Meeks. With the dedicated help of countless volunteers, Calamus Area Golf and Recreation opened to the public in the summer of 1994.   The Calamus Golf Course is a 2845 yd., par 35/men, par 36/ladies; 9-hole course nestled in the beautiful Calamus river valley among the Nebraska Sandhills.We boast large grass greens, irrigated fairways, with doglegs on seven holes. Ponds come into play on 5 holes, with water having a significant role on our par 3's. Grass bunkers give golfers an added challenge on most holes. The course offers a driving range and a practice green to help you fine tune your game, or just for a short warm-up.
